Abba fans will get the chance to immerse themselves in everything about the band as an interactive exhibition has its premiere in London. Abbaworld, which has the backing of the Swedish band, features 25 rooms full of memorabilia, behind-the-scenes footage and music dedicated to the foursome. Fans will even be able to get up on stage with their “idols” as part of a 3D hologram installation. The exhibition opens at London’s Earls Court on 27 January. Frida Lyngstad said: “On behalf of Agnetha, Bjorn, Benny and I, we are delighted to be part of Abbaworld and to have the opportunity to share our amazing experiences with our fans.” As part of the interactive experience, visitors will also be able to appear in music videos, on album covers and take part in a sing-a-long.

We’ve been going through the NIN touring and studio rigs and are getting rid of a large selection of gear and equipment the band is no longer in need of. It’s being listed on eBay here . We do not know which (if any) tour these items are from unless specified, nor can we get any items autographed, so please do not ask. Hundreds of items will be listed over the next several weeks such as guitars, keyboards, amplifiers, drums, staging, anvil cases, cables, rack/outboard gear, guitar effects, and pedal boards.

Britney and her beautiful weave arrive back in L.A.

Making the long flight home to the States, Britney Spears was spotted arriving at LAX Airport in Los Angeles, California on Monday (November 30). Escorted through the terminal by her trusty security staffer, the “Gimme More” singer looked happy to be back home after finishing up the final leg of Circus tour in Australia. As previously reported by Gossip Center, Brit-Brit seems to be set on writing off any future visits to Australia – as she was reportedly “extremely upset” by the coverage her tour received from the lip-synching fiasco.

Tom Petty admits that his father physically and verbally abused him because he assumed the singer was gay. “[My father] was scary and violent,” Petty said in the new issue of Rolling Stone, according to website Spinner. “He beat the living hell out of me, and there was constant verbal abuse.” According to the music legend, his father assumed that Petty was gay because he was interested in the arts instead of baseball. “Looking back on it, he probably was disappointed that I was so drawn to the arts.
