James McCartney: I was in the womb when dad sang Mull of Kintyre..

. JAMES MCCARTNEY is looking forward to getting back to where he once belonged as he heads to Scotland as part of a UK tour. The 32-year-old son of Paul McCartney spent a chunk of his childhood on the Mull Of Kintyre, where his parents recorded many of their hit songs with the group Wings, including the 1977 mega-hit Mull Of Kintyre. James, who bears a striking resemblance to his old man, has finally committed to follow in his footsteps and those of his late mother Linda by pursuing a career in music. And he will play two low-key Scottish dates next week. He admits the trip to Scotland with his band will be an emotional one for him.

The rock boffin is to return to movie soundtracks, writing music for an adaptation of Haruki Murakami’s Norwegian Wood Radiohead’s Jonny Greenwood will reportedly return to film scoring, writing music for an adaptation of Haruki Murakami’s Norwegian Wood.

Yesterday (March 7) music website Tinymixtapes.com reported on an email, which seemed to originate from the band’s W.A.S.T.E.

Heather Mills’ friend gives her a lift for a dip in the sea in Mauritius Heather Mills is set to reveal all about her marriage to Sir Paul McCartney in an upcoming British TV interview. The Beatles legend wed the former glamour model in 2002, but the couple separated in 2006, leading to an ugly public divorce battle.The union was officially dissolved in 2008 and the veteran musician was ordered to hand over $38.9 million of his fortune to Mills, as well as annual payments for the former couple’s young daughter, Beatrice. Mills revealed recently that the divorce money has been spent. The Sunday Mirror reports that Heather said: “Most of it’s been given to charity, gone into ethical businesses or paid for a couple of properties for my daughter’s future security. “I could never sit with millions of pounds in the bank that could make matters change”.
