Lady Gaga is finding herself in a “bad romance” with a former boyfriend/producer who filed a $35 million lawsuit against her! OK ! NEWS VIDEO: DIAL UP LADY GAGA’S “TELEPHONE” VIDEO Rob Fusari filed a lawsuit against Lady Gaga for leaving him out of her career after he says he co-wrote some of her songs, came up with her stage name and helped her get her record deal, the Associated Press reports. The lawsuit was filed Wednesday in Manhattan state court and stated, “All business is personal.” Lady Gaga’s spokesman, Dave Tomberlin, didn’t immediately respond to an e-mail sent Thursday by the AP. OK ! NEWS: LADY GAGA — I’D RATHER DIE THAN LOOK NORMAL According to the lawsuit, a friend sent Lady Gaga, then known by her real name, Stefani Germanotta, to Fusari in March 2006. Fusari was known for his credits to hits such as Will Smith ’s “Wild, Wild West” and Destiny’s Child ’s “Bootylicious.” Though he initially dismissed her, he realized she had star potential after hearing her play in his Livingston, N.J., studio, the suit said. The suit said he spent several months working every day with her “radically reshaping her approach,” co-writing songs such as “Paparazzi” and “Beautiful, Dirty, Rich” and transforming her into Lady Gaga, a name crafted from Queen’s “Radio Ga Ga.” OK ! NEWS: GETTING DRAMATIC OVER GAGA Lady Gaga’s and Fusari’s relationship became romantic and turned into a business partnership in May 2006, the lawsuit states.
