First image of David Tennant as Peter Vincent in Fright Night remake

B-D just stumbled upon this HUGE poster showing star David Tennant (aka “Dr. Who”) as Peter Vincent in the Touchstone Fright Night remake; in this incarnation, Vincent is a Las Vegas magician instead of a late-night horror movie TV host. The poster, hanging from a bank of glass elevators in a hotel lobby, is confirmed to be tied to the remake and is presumably a faux-advertisement for the Vincent character’s macabre stage show, conveniently titled…wait for it…Fright Night! Here are a couple of posters for Disney’s Rapunzel movie, Tangled . The first one has been around for a few weeks, but the international poster just came online in the past couple of days. The movie, scheduled to be in theaters in November, follows the traditional Rapunzel tale of a princess (voiced by Mandy Moore) caught in a tower where she is rescued by a handsome prince (voiced by Zachary Levi) who climbs the tower using her long, flowing locks. Of course, there are a few liberties with the traditional story , but that’s to be expected for a Disney cartoon . Continue reading to check them out

Milla Jovovich arriving at LAX on August 26 + a first Stone poster

Model, actress and former fashion designer Milla Jovovich has a very clever approach to handling the omnipresent paparazzi at Los Angeles International Airport: She bulks up. Milla kept covered in ballet flats, skinny jeans, a long jacket, a textured scarf and bright blue sunglasses as she made her way from the baggage claim. A simple swipe of lipstick had her ready to face the flashbulbs. Jovovich, 34, is hard at work promoting the fourth film in the Resident Evil franchise — Resident Evil: Afterlife . Two actors who have frequently been referred to as the “Greatest Actors of Their Generation” are Robert De Niro and Edward Norton. They first teamed up in the 2001’s THE SCORE, a film that could’ve been spectacular but was beset with behind-the-scenes issues related to Marlon Brando being, well, Marlon Brando.

Three new character posters have been posted on the official homepage for Mark Romanek’s new feature, the adaptation of Kazuo Ishiguro’s celebrated book, Never Let Me go. Here’s the synopsis: As children, Ruth, Kathy and Tommy, spend their childhood at a seemingly idyllic English boarding school. As they grow into young adults, they find that they have to come to terms with the strength of the love they feel for each other, while preparing themselves for the haunting reality that awaits them. Judging by the trailer, these beautifully composed close-ups of the three lead (Andrew Garfield, Keira Knightley and Carey Mulligan) perfectly reflect the style of the film. Romanek is a master visualist (the photos he frequently posts on Twitter are clearly the work of a hugely talented individual). The film of opens this year’s London Film Festival and it’s released nationwide on 14 January 2011

Universal Pictures has debuted the trailer for Greg and Colin Strause’s Skyline, hitting theaters on November 12. In the sci-fi thriller, strange lights descend on the city of Los Angeles, drawing people outside like moths to a flame where an extraterrestrial force threatens to swallow the entire human population off the face of the earth. Skyline stars Eric Balfour, Donald Faison, Scottie Thompson and Brittany Daniel. SOURCE I noticed the font in the trailer is the same for Transformers…I don’t know I thought anyone would care.
