As apart of their conceptual video album art it first begins with a cute upbeat intro song taking place in the post modern shopping metropolis called Mary Quant , which is possibly a shout out to the iconic British fashion designer of the 1960s of the same name ? . Source

Florence And The Machine’s Fridge Problem A fridge is ruining Florence and the Machine’s demos for her second album. The ‘Rabbit Heart’ singer – real name Florence Welch – said she is trying hard to record songs for her second album while on the road, but that the constant humming of her tourbus fridge is seeping onto the recordings and ruining them. She told Absolute Radio DJ Geoff Lloyd: “We’ve been writing this second album on this tour. But it’s funny -we don’t have a studio and we have less equipment than we had before and the sound of the refrigerator is constant in almost all of our recordings so we’re kind of going backwards! “The last album was recorded in a synagogue, this one’s being recorded in various places with lots of humming and clacking sounds in the background.” Florence also told how her passion for using unconventional materials as instruments gave a rude awakening to the people staying next to her in one hotel. She added: “We got in trouble actually, because we tried to record a song in a hotel room and I stupidly decided to use a partition wall as a bass drum which wasn’t very helpful for the people in the room next door!” Florence will headline the Latitude festival in Suffolk, Southern Britain, this weekend, and added she is excited because it is her first headline slot. She added: “I can’t believe someone actually wants me to headline a festival, I’m going to have to up my game!” Source Can’t wait till I hear the harps and her stunning voice next month!

Ke$ha Lines Up 3rd Single

According to AllAccess.com , Pop sensation Ke$ha is set to release ‘Your Love Is My Drug’ as the third single from her debut LP ‘Animal’. Catchy, inoffensive, and distinctly generic, the release of the song suggests Ms. Sebert has found a formula that works and is sticking to it. What this means for her longevity is anyone’s guess, however it would be hardly surprising if this becomes a fixture on the radio

Not iamamiwhoami: Goldfrapp’s bitchy response

Who is Iamamiwhoami? Not Goldfrapp, Evidently Wednesday March 17, 2010 This year, the internet has been literally heaving with consternation concerning the identity of mysterious viral-video identity Iamamiwhoami. An elaborately-executed, evidently-expensive, carefully-choreographed marketing campaign shrouded in secrecy, the series of amusingly arty videos have driven know-it-alls mad with their deliberate anonymity. Scuttlebutt has suggested an array of Swedes —Jonna Lee, Lykke Li, The Knife— and, crazily, Christina Aguilera as possible perps, as well as English electro sirens Little Boots and Goldfrapp
