Putting on a united front, Kate Winslet and Sam Mendes — who separated just last month — took their children to school today in the Big Apple. Neither Sam nor Kate were wearing their wedding rings as they helped son, Joe, 6, and her daughter (from first marriage to Jim Threapleton ), Mia, 9, into their car outside their NYC apartment.
