Ryan Reynolds Is Hugo Boss Fragrance’s Newest Face Scarlett Johansson, is already the face of Dolce & Gabbana’s scent Rose The One, and now Ryan Reynolds is following his wife’s lead and jumping into the fragrance game himself as the newest face for Hugo Boss Fragrances. “Boss is a brand that not only represents classic style and sophistication, but inspires men to work hard, embrace opportunities and strive for success in all aspects of their lives,” Reynolds tells WWD. “I’m honored Boss invited me to be the face of its new men’s fragrance.” Although Hugo Boss Fragrances has yet to release any additional details, a brand spokesperson confirms to PEOPLE that the actor will represent two new as-yet-unnamed scents under the classic Boss line. Hold off on your plans to move Psych back to Friday for a while. On Tuesday night White Collar bounced back nicely from the previous week and on Wednesday night so did Psych. Wednesday night Psych had a 1.3 rating with adults 18-49 and 3.573 million viewers

Simon Cowell Signs Paula Abdul To $4.5 Million-A-Year Contract With “The X Factor?”

Get ready for another season of Simon and Paula’s signature bickering — on the US adaptation of The X Factor. Paula Abdul has allegedly inked a $4.5 million contract to bring her loopy commentary to the judges panel on an American version of Simon’s hit UK talent show, The X Factor. That’s interesting, considering the star walked away from her post at American Idol because she failed to secure the $10 million-a-year payday she was vying for. Apparently, Paula isn’t very good at gambling, is she? A FOX tipster revealed to The National Enquirer’s Mike Walker: “Simon flew Paula to London and wined and dined her relentlessly over the course of several days, even introducing her to everyone who works on X Factor. But what really clinched the deal was Simon’s pledge that she wouldn’t have to deal with all the nonsense and infighting that she hated on Idol.” The X Factor America will premiere in 2011

Beware Green Lantern’s Light & Thor

Usually when a new superhero makes the transition from comic to screen we get an origins story which gets us familiar with the characters, the powers, and the universe, and it is often the case that what people are really waiting for is the sequel where the action and story can kick in. From the looks of things Marvel are going down the origins route with Thor and Captain America, so they can set the characters up for The Avengers. Another superhero making his big screen debut is Green Lantern, and Ryan Reynolds recently told MTV that while the film will be an origin story, the adventure will kick in pretty early on: “I think you walk away from this first film, and the moments that you remember and the moments that mean so much to you, not unlike ‘Iron Man,’ are the moments where the guy’s not in the suit,” said Reynolds. However, Reynolds acknowledged that developing those moments amid the cosmic action central to “Green Lantern” is a daunting task — after all, a test pilot who receives a super-powered ring from a dying alien is likely to demand a much different tone than a billionaire industrialist building his own battle armor. “That to me is the tough thing to get right,” he explained
